When you use the " sender is in address book" condition, Outlook will look up the address in the address book you specify. Can use people or distribution list condition or use the in address book condition to apply to all addresses in a contacts folder. Items sent to or from other lists are caught by these two rules and retained in the Inbox: I have some separate rules to move messages from a few specific distribution lists into their own folders.
